Islamic 9/11 Propaganda in Classrooms

A Texas mom is furious after discovering that her son’s school is teaching students that the United States is partly to blame for the 9/11 terrorist attacks that claimed the lives of nearly 3,000 people.
Kara Sands, of Corpus Christi, Texas, took to her Facebook and posted photos of the test administered by Flour Bluff Intermediate School. The test reportedly covered content in a video fifth-grade students watched in class.
Of all the questions about the 9/11 attacks, Sands was most disturbed by one question.

Why might the Unites States be a target for terrorism?
(This question is taken from CSCOPE Curriculum)
a. Other people just don’t like Americans.
b. Decisions we made in the United States have had negative effects on people elsewhere.
c. Terrorists hate everyone.
d. None of the above.
Their correct answer is b.

Commentary: All of the textbooks that I have reviewed have statements about the Islamic reasons for attacking us on 9/11. Just including these false reasons in a textbook, creates the assumption in the students minds that Americans were partially the cause of the attacks. One textbook has a picture of Ben Laden, but not a single photo of any of the American heroes. Answer a., is also highly slanted toward the assumption that America is always to blame -first by the rest of the world.
